OUR RUMS
CIHUATÁN INDIGO
A rum crafted as an homage to Tlaloc, Mayan god of the rain. The name "Indigo" was inspired by the color blue, which was crafted by the ancient Maya using the Indigo flower (añil).
ABOUT THIS RUM
Age: 8 Years
Aging Method: aged in American Oak ex-Bourbon barrels.
Tasting Notes: Vanilla, Cappuccino, Dark Chocolate, Lemongrass, Hazelnut, Artisanal Dulce de Leche.
CIHUATÁN ARTESANO
Cihuatán Artesano is an aged rum inspired by the legend of Gucumatz, the Mayan god of agriculture and creativity. Gucumatz shared with humans the rules of agriculture and the arts.

CIHUATÁN CINABRIO
A rum crafted as an homage to Kinich Ahau, Mayan god of the sun. The name "Cinabrio" was inspired by the color red, which was crafted by the ancient Maya using the mineral Cinabrio (cinnabar).

Age: 12 years.
Aging method: Aged in American Oak. ex-Bourbon barrels.
Tasting notes: Plum, Ripe Starfruit, Caramelized Orange Peel, Guarapo, Pistachio, Toasted Oak.
CIHUATÁN XAMAN XO
Inspired by the Mayan god of the North Star, Xaman. under the veil of night, the Sleeping Woman searched for the brightest star in the sky.

Age: 16 years
Aging method: aged for 16 years, 15 years in American ex-Bourbon oak barrels and 1 year in Ceiba Maya barrels.
Tasting notes: Toasted Balsamic, Clove, Leather, Panela Bacon, Grilled Pineapple, Plums.
CIHUATÁN SUERTE
Cihuatán Suerte is a limited edition rum inspired by the legend of Muwaan Mat, Mayan god of luck. The Mayan people believed that this god shared the gift of good luck through crystals. To harness it, they would filter water with quartz in a sacred ritual. Following this ancient practice, our Master Blender Gabriela Ayala chose quartz to filter rums from our private collection to cra
